Scientific Computing is excited to offer an Online Computing and Data Science for Clinical Scientists Course! This is a 3-day online course, with an optional 4th day on Data Science and AI, tailored for STP trainees across a wide range of specialities.

Learning Outcomes:

• • Gain foundational skills in clinical scientific computing, including data pipelines, database queries, and GUI development.
• • Develop practical knowledge of image processing and DICOM workflows.
• • Optionally, acquire foundational knowledge in data science, machine learning, and AI for medical physics on Day 4.

On April 29th, 2024, the SciCom team gathered for an inspiring and productive in-person meeting! It was a day filled with brainstorming sessions, strategy discussions, and collaborative planning to further our mission of science communication excellence. With everyone's passion and dedication, we explored innovative ideas and set ambitious goals to continue making an impact in the scientific community. But the excitement didn't end there! Following the team meeting, we enjoyed a delightful social gathering, strengthening bonds and fostering camaraderie among team members. From engaging conversations to shared laughter, it was a fantastic opportunity to unwind and celebrate our collective achievements. As we reflect on the success of our in-person meeting and social, we're energized and motivated to take SciCom to new heights.
